Our next Shabe Sher is scheduled for Saturday Oct. 28th, 2017
The Shabe Sher will be held bi-monthly on last Saturday of the month.
Pre-registration is required. Look for announcements for each event.

KARMA, in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati, is pleased to announce the launch of ‘Reading and Writing Farsi’ classes for children in Cincinnati. Two classes have been established to serve different age groups. First class serves the age group of 5-8 and the second class is for 9-17 age group.

The description posted on UC website:
This class is fun and is designed for children who have some exposure to Farsi language and who are interested in learning to read and write. The class starts with the alphabet and basic vocabulary. We are offering are two separate classes, divided by age group, and meeting at different times. Please note: Parents escort their children to the classroom; also there is a $10 materials fee payable to the instructor in class each month.
Leila Chamankhah, Ph.D., is an experienced teacher and Farsi is her native language.

Teacher: Leila Chamankhah Ph.D. Leila has received her Ph.D. is political sciences from Iran in 2006. She has teaching experience both in Iran at the university level and in the United States at middle school and high school level. She loves teaching and is very excited to teach Farsi to kids.

Also, we are in the final stages of organizing a Shabe Shehr!  Please stay tuned for further information in this regard.
